Red Light Private Tour
Since three years we have our own working space in the middle of the Red Light District. Thanks to our large network and years of experience we can show you the Red Light District like no other touroperator can. Ofcourse we’ll visit our former window brothel and take you to famous and infamous places of the Red Light district. We tell stories about the history of the area, the tolerant and open Dutch culture, the famous sex industry, new initiatives in the district and many more.
The Red Light District is probably the most diverse area of Amsterdam! It is a very diverse neighborhood filled with art galleries, sex stores, small museums, coffeeshops, cafes and many good restaurants. The district is part of the old city center, home to some of the oldest streets, houses and buildings in Amsterdam. The area even has it’s own China Town with a Chinese community that has been here for over 100 years!
Big changes in the Red Light District
Due to a big project of Amsterdam’s city council many window brothels and coffee shops in the Red Light are being closed. Creative entrepreneurs are given the chance to start a new business in the former window brothels. During this tour we will pass by new and happening places like a radio station and Amsterdam’s only creative video arcade in a former peepshow.
Visit our creative space
In the world famous ‘skinniest alley’ of Amsterdam we’ll visit our former window brothel, the ‘Red Light Workshop’, where you’ll learn more about current changes in the area. During your visit to the Red Light Workshop you will receive a free Dutch design present!
